Perception of what is sexy

A large part of how we view other people is based on how that person presents him or herself. If you view yourself as sexy, and act that way, then others will perceive you as sexy. Truly look at and appreciate your own body. Sure, it has faults, just like everybody does. Accept the faults, and accept yourself as a work in progress, and flaunt what you have. You’ll find that people react positively to your positive self-image.

Adore your mate

Love, care, attraction and affection are what come to our mind when we talk about a relationship. Well a relationship is much more than that. It is admiring and adoring your mate, adoring beyond the physical appearance.

A relationship is about two individuals coming together in union for an everlasting bond. It is accepting one another with all their positive and negative aspect. When you are in a relationship you should adore your mate for what he or she is. Adoring your mate is appreciating the complete persona of a particular person. A relationship is accepting a person for what they are, all the good and bad qualities. You have to accept the person for his or her flaws. That is a true relationship.

Most of the relationships in today’s world end in a separation due to lack of adjustment and acceptance for each other. Many couples are unable to cope up with the faults of their partners. They only admire them for their good qualities and reject them for their negative characteristics. Should it be the way, certainly not? We should remember that no person is perfect. If people are good at certain things and have some positive traits they also have negative qualities. We should learn to accept and acknowledge both the positive and negative points of our partners. This is true love. If you really love your mate you are going to love him or her for each and every quality he or she has.

Most of us come into a relationship when we get acquainted to a person’s positive attribute which is very normal. But it is in later years that we come to know about a person’s negative trait. It is here we need to understand that no person is perfect and should take that person as he or she is. None of us are perfect. You should keep in mind that you too have faults and are being accepted as you are. So why can’t you be the same.

If you feel it difficult to take in the bad part of your partner just keep in mind the good part about him or her. And it will become very easy for you to take in the unpleasant portion of the relationship.

8 Rules of Sports Bras

1. Look for bras that encapsulate each breast in a separate chamber; they reduce bounce and support better than simple shelf bras.

2. Try to find sports bras that come in cup and band sizes rather than just small, medium, or large; they usually fit more precisely.

3. Look for strategically placed seams and stitching, which help cushion the breast. (Hate bumpy ridges under a fitted tee? Companies like Isis, Asics, and Champion make seamless bras.)

4. Pick high-performance fabrics that wick away sweat to minimize chafing
5. Own a variety of sports bras, and when in doubt, choose a higher-impact bra for a lower-impact sport--never the other way around.

6. Get fitted by an expert. You can find bra fitters at most department stores or lingerie shops.

7. Before buying, jump, swing your arms, and move around. If a bra pokes, rubs, slips, jiggles, constrict your breathing, or bulges, put it back. Also, it should fit on the first hook; as it loses elasticity over time, you'll need room to tighten it.

8. Rotate your bras and wash them regularly so you can get at least a year's use out of each one.

Girdles: This is a sexy and fabulous idea for women of all sizes. Girdles hide all your flaws, make you look sleek and curvy, and make all your clothes fit just right. Not even hours at the gym or a diet can weave this magic. Even those ladies with the “perfect” bodies can benefit from this sweet little number. It may take a few days to get used to. Nevertheless, if you have the right size it will feel like you own skin in no time.

Corsets: These are sexy and feel great. They no only slim the waist and flatten out the profile corsets give great cleavage. A corset offers a woman a streamline appearance and even offers back support. The goal with the corset is to boost up the assets and flatten out the rest comfortably. The corset is not about skinny as much as it is about trim and sleek. You will be able to wear it with anything and not as just an intimate piece. You wear this wherever you decide to go and stop traffic.

Bustier: This is very similar to the corset except that it has bra cups built into it. Bustiers come with or with out straps or a garter. This will all depend on what style you choose. Whether you go strapless or not won’t matter. This lingerie piece can hold up all breast sizes with out an issue. This is even true for very busty women. No matter what you do in your bustier you will not have to worry about flopping out or it shimmying down. You will always have complete support and control. In fact, the bustier puts any bra to shame as far as slimming, boosting, and support is concerned. This bra has a slimming waist to make sure not only your breasts look great but the rest of you too.

Chemise: This lovely garment has a special way of slimming all women down. The flare it has at the hips hides any bulging or flaws one might have. A chemise has tiny straps and looks similar to a small slip. You can use this in any fashion you choose. It can be worn with dresses, skirts, or by itself. Either way you will look trim and sexy in it.

Teddies: This is not the bear we are talking about here. This is that sweet little body suit that makes all women feel pretty and sexy. This is a common piece to many women’s wardrobes. The teddy makes you look slim and trim in all the right places. It also enhances your best features as well. A teddy should be a part of every woman’s wardrobe.

Baby Doll: A classic style that is still around today. This short little slimming nightgown has cups in it for the extra support and allure. The design of the Baby Doll will slim out any woman and make her feel sexy. Many of the Baby Doll sets come with at least one pair of matching panties as well. Choose from a variety of sexy styles and mix and match. No matter which ones you pick the design is fabulous. The cups will push you up and out while the flare underneath will make him wonder what you are hiding under that sexy little thing.

Depending on your particular body there will be at least two pieces here that will work for you. Every woman deserves to feel trim, slim, and divine. Find out what works best with you and fly to the heavens with it. There is always that special piece out there somewhere for everyone. You can never go wrong with a beautiful, slimming piece of lingerie.

How you see yourself

Screw magazines that tell you to focus on what you'd like to improve about your body. Heck, if you've got one, burn it. If you've got health issues to deal with, or need to make some healthy changes in terms of what you're eating or not getting enough activity, do that. But your body is not a home-improvement project.

Most of it is perfect as-is, right now. So, document that. Sit down and make a list of all of your favourite parts, and write down why they're your favourite. Maybe you like your eyes because they're aesthetically beautiful, or your legs because they get you where you need to go.

If you need extra help when it comes to appearances, instead of comparing yourself to fashion mags, get some pictures of your relatives, as far back as you can go, if they're available to you. In them, you're going to find your arms, your hair, your face -- you can discover where a lot of you came from and see yourself a bit differently when you're looking at you in someone else.

10 Steps to a Healthy Relationship

Follow these 10 tips and reap the benefits of a healthy relationship.

1.    Use your head, not just your heart, when picking a man and look at the whole package before making your choice.
2.    Know the difference between lust and love – it will save you a lot of heartache.
3.    Learn to voice your desires: Your partner isn't psychic and he can't make you happy unless you let him know what fulfils you.
4.    Work at your relationship: A close bond is forged through hard work and constant attention; it's not automatic.
5.    Don’t let yourself go: You don't have to bring sexy back but being clean and presentable goes a long way.
6.    Understand that your feelings may change over time: you won't stay drunk with joy forever but that doesn't mean you don't love each other.
7.    There is a difference between sex and intimacy: Sex is one avenue to intimacy. Intimacy involves talking and revealing every facet of yourself – the good, the bad and the ugly.
8.    Communicate, communicate, communicate! Talking about everything is the only way you'll deal with problems, maintain intimacy and know if you're on the same wavelength.
9.    Understand that you're a unit, but you're both also individuals and your partner is not responsible for your personal happiness – you are.
10.  Have a life outside your relationship.  Learn to apologise – even if you don't always say "sorry", making up after an argument is crucial.

10 ANTI-AGING TIPS

Give your skin a fighting chance with these ten anti-aging tips, commonly believed to be effective in reducing the physical signs of aging.

1. Eat healthy. Stick to a low fat diet that is high fruits and vegetables and lean meats and fish. Then enjoy a moderate intake of carbohydrates, especially complex carbohydrates, such as whole grains.

2. Engage in a regular exercise routine.

3. Reduce your stress. Stress is one of the primary causes of premature aging and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. When you are experiencing too much stress, your body simply does not function at its highest level. Starting slowly, eliminate those facets of your lifestyle that are contributing to too much stress.

4. Drink water. Water helps hydrate skin and helps your body form healthy cells. It also helps your body remove waste products.

5. Supply your body with antioxidants, such as vitamin C, Vitamin A, and Vitamin E, from vegetables and fruits, as well as nutritional supplements. These vitamins help your skin fight the damage of free-radicals that your skin is exposed to via environmental factors (such as pollution).

6. Protect yourself from the sun's damaging rays. Apply sunscreen each morning on your face, even in the wintertime. And slather sunscreen on exposed parts of your body when going outside. Wear protective clothing, such as long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and wide brimmed hats. Wear sunglasses to protect your delicate eye area, too. This is one of the most important things you can do to reduce the signs of aging, particularly on your face. Try not to go outside during the times of the sun's most intense and damaging rays (from 10 am to 2 pm)

7. Avoid smoke. If you are a smoker, quitting will greatly help in your efforts to reduce your physical signs of aging. Studies say nicotine accelerates the skin's aging process.

8. Take time to wash your skin (gently). When you clean your skin, you reduce the risk of skin disorders that may come from pollutants in the environment. Make sure that you aren't drying your skin with irritating soaps or additives, such as dyes and perfumes. Remove your makeup carefully, paying special attention to the delicate eye area. Use a gentle eye makeup remover, instead of using harsh soaps around your eyes. Pat your skin dry gently and use moisturizers as needed.

9. Shave carefully. If you shave often, try applying a warm washcloth on your skin before shaving to soften the hair. Then use a moisturizing shaving cream or lotion to lubricate and protect your skin.

10. Moisturize. When you moisturize regularly, you will help your skin maintain its youthful glow. Apply a moisturizer that is suited for your specific skin type as often as needed throughout the day.

Eat for beauty

The term 'beauty comes from within' traditionally means that personality, kindness and compassion are just important as the way you look. If you're beautiful on the inside, you'll be beautiful on the outside too.

However, this common saying can also be taken to mean that beauty grows from what we put into our bodies, namely the food we eat.

We all know our diet contributes to our body weight but it's also intrinsically linked to our skin, hair and nails.

Without, drinking sufficient water and eating enough fruit and vegetables, we won't get the vitamins, minerals and fluids our skin needs.

No amount of face creams and serums can compensate for a poor diet.

But it's important not to go overboard with your diet. The key is a healthy, balanced diet... one that you have more than a remote chance of maintaining.

Body image - a loaded topic

Wow – one of the most loaded topics. The wrong word or answer can get your head taken off, destroy or be destroyed, damaged for life.

Entire industries prosper on the fact that this a major concern for so many people in the western world. To say nothing of the support industries, advertising and media necessary to tell us how bad we will look if we don’t…, how horrible our lives will be, what terrible people we’ll be.

To paraphrase, and with licence, Winston Churchill: “Never in the field of human experience has so little been made so meaningful to so many by such manipulation.”

For the truth is that the “right stuff” - body, hair, pecs/breasts etc - is nothing but a manipulation that preys on one of our deepest fears – if we’re not “right”, nobody’s going to want us or love us.

Beauty within everyone
Within every one of us is beauty. We are all capable of giving, receiving and sharing pleasure, we are all able to love and be loved.

The most sensual people I’ve known are those comfortable with their bodies. The best lovers are those who acknowledge themselves as sensual and sexual beings.

They’re concerned with what’s on the inside, as well as the outside. Because let’s face it, when all we’re concerned with is the outside, what we look like, we tend to ignore what’s inside and become just a tad shallow.

The question that begs to be asked is “How beautiful are the beautiful people?” Does an amazing face or body come with the intelligence or heart or soul awareness to make pronouncements of value other than “I want to work for world peace”?

Never enough
If the motivation to change your body comes from the perspective of not being enough, there’s a small problem. It will never be enough. The insecurity and inevitable comparison ensures that somebody else is always going to be more… (or less…).

The other problem here is the truth of change. To expect to look the same at 40 as we did at 25 is absurd.

To look better because we’re more comfortable with who we are, more secure, to have an inner glow that only comes from a level of self-acceptance and self-love is much better. Now we’re talking!

Journey into Tantric
The journey into Tantric, Taoist sexuality and sensual exploration offers a path that brings us to a place of feeling good about who we are and how we look.

The first possibility on this journey is simply to feel good, to enjoy pleasure. We naturally start to feel better about ourselves when pleasure takes place in a space of honouring, nurturing and acceptance. And the experience of pleasure is not determined by how we look.

However, we are going to become more aware of our body and our health as we delve deeper into the realms of pleasure.

We will be more conscious of what we put inside us. We will exercise more. To enjoy the awesome magic of a three-hour Tantric lovemaking session you have to be fit and supple, you have to be able to breathe. You don’t need to be a sexual athlete, but you do need to be healthy.

Liking ourselves
Without even venturing into the realms of Tantric or anything sexually “funny”, the more you allow yourself to pleasure and be pleasured, the more aware of yourself, your physical and emotional being you become. This naturally brings a greater sense of well-being, energy and vitality.

So we start to like ourselves more. Regardless of what we look like externally. And we come to see that purely through feeling good, that whatever our body looks like, we can have fun and excitement, peace and passion.

And then the desire to change anything physically becomes more realistic, easier and most importantly, the motivation to change becomes different.

It’s because I like or even love myself more. And then weight, for example disappears, or my eating changes naturally or exercise is more fun or purposeful. It comes from inside and is not dependent on anybody or anything else.

But the comfier I feel within my skin, the more sensual I allow myself to be, the better about myself I will feel, the more my body will come to a state of balance. And I will be happy!
